2016 Year In Review

You made 2016 an amazing year of putting good into the world. Just take a look at the success of #GivingTuesday, for example, and you’ll see that generosity never goes out of style.

We thought we’d take a look back at some of the milestones we reached this year, and show our gratitude to all our donors and member organizations. You made 2016 a banner year for giving, and it is an honor to serve you. Before we get to the timeline, we’d like to highlight the biggest news of all:

Over $100 Million In Donations

Since launching not even three years ago, over $100 million has been given by Givelify donors to places of worship and nonprofits all throughout the country and Puerto Rico. This is a staggering number, and we are humbled by the selflessness of our donors and the unwavering support of our member organizations. We cannot adequately express our gratitude for your continued trust in us and in your commitment to making the world a better place.

Near or Far, Your Generosity Made It Home

Part of the beauty of Givelify is the ability to make charitable donations anytime you are moved to do so, and from anywhere you might be. With that in mind, here’s a snapshot of where people were when they made donations in 2016. Whether traveling for work, vacation, mission trips, or whatever the reason, it’s stunning to see people giving from all across the globe.

Many organizations rely on recurring gifts to sustain themselves, and donors like the ease of “set it and forget it.” We made recurring donations available beginning in December.
